While our film makers maintain that many of their stories are based on real life incidents, we come across many incidents in real life inspired from reel life. Ravi Teja’s next after ‘Kick 2’ and ‘Bengal Tiger’ would probably be the remake of 2013 Bollywood movie ‘Special 26’, a heist thriller starring Akshay Kumar in the lead.

In the film a team of Akshay Kumar makes fake income tax raids and loots crores from the victims. In the same manner, one Jayanthibhai from Charkop, Mumbai was conned by a group of four as IT officials who conducted a raid on his home and took away Rs 1.2 crore. On the way they dumped Jayanthibhai strategically.
But the victim later understood he had been conned, approached police and filed a complaint with police. After initial investigation, the police traced the fake raid roots to one of Jayanthibhai’s relative Jagdish who previously asked for loan but rejected. Conspiring with others forming a group, like in ‘Special 26’, they raided and looted money from the victim.
