M9 News Journalist Nishant spoke with Director Jothi Krishna, Son of Senior Producer AM Ratnam about his upcoming film, Rules Ranjann, why he chose Kiran Abbavaram for the film, Neha Shetty’s Superhit song Sammohanuda in the movie, the care he took to avoid failures, the lessons he learned from the failures, etc.
“One day I narrated the script of Rules Ranjann at about 1 AM. Even then my friends are laughing continuously. Only then, did I realize the potential of the script and I narrated it to Kiran Abbavaram because it needs someone without an image,” he said.
“Rules Ranjann is all about entertainment. The last thirty minutes will be hilarious. It is the kind of film you can enjoy thoroughly with your family or friends. I am sure Kiran Abbavaram will bag a big blockbuster,” he adds.
We also asked his opinion about why Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Bhola Shankar failed since he is the co-producer of the original film, Vedhalam starring Ajith.
He also elaborated on why Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veeramallu is getting delayed, rumors about the rift between Krish and Pawan Kalyan, his memories with Pawan Kalyan, etc.
“Hari Hara Veeramallu is a film comparable to Baahubali in scale. I recently watched the first half. It will be a blockbuster for sure,” he assures.
