Remember actor who burst into Telugu cinema as Devadas? The actor after making such a grand debut has been struggling since to get another success of that level. After making his debut in 2006 he has had two big films in the form of Ready and Kandireega with the latter one coming almost half a decade ago.

It has been a long struggle for the actor which also mirrors another actor’s struggle in the past few years. The other one is of course Ravi Teja. He too was derailed at the box office for quite some time but two summers ago finally turned luck in his side with Balupu. Is a similar situation created for hero Ram too?
The Tollywood summer this year is nothing to brag about with no real big success. Even the upcoming films don’t look that exciting barring one or two. All this looks to be a perfect set up for Ram coming up with Pandaka Chesko. The film directed by Gopichand Malineni who also incidentally made Balupu with Ravi Teja, is coming as a perfect summer entertainer with huge doses of comedy something that TFI has missed this summer.
We already have examples of a film like Loukyam that proved the naysayers wrong and did wonderfully well despite biggies around. Then there is also a proven example of Balupu. Bottom-line is sometimes the scenario is set where just a decent entertainer is enough to rake in big moolah at box office. Has therefore time come for Ram to show his Balupu? As the star celebrates his birthday today, we wish him all the best for his future endeavors. Meanwhile Pandaga Chesko is likely to hit the screens Worldwide on May 19.
