Macho Star T Gopichand’s most ambitious project Gopichand33 under the direction of Sankalp Reddy features Ritu Varma as the lead actress. The makers made the announcement on her birthday. On the special occasion, they have also revealed her first look poster.
Ritu Varma is seen in a commanding, yet traditional warrior avatar, deviating from her usual urban or soft roles. She is seen pulling a longbow, dressed in a dark-toned saree draped in a way that allows for movement. She sports a nose ring, traditional jewelry, and a quiver on her back. The background suggests a cave with ancient carvings.
Set against a 7th-century landscape, Ritu essays the role of a woman hailing from a remote mountain tribe, a character woven with cultural depth, restrained emotion, and unyielding courage.
Srinivasaa Chitturi is producing the movie under the Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner, while Pavan Kumar is presenting it. The film’s shoot is nearing completion, and the makers are expected to announce the release date soon.
