Directed by Raam Ganni, the psychological horror drama is set in a police backdrop and stars Hansika as the female lead. The film is produced by Kalyana Chakravarthy Manthina and Bhanu Kiran Pratapa under the Sapta Aswa Media Works banner, along with Vijay Krishna Lingamaneni.
The title Kapaali carries a powerful meaning skull-bearer, and the firs look poster beautifully translates that concept into a haunting visual experience. Rohith Nara stands at its center with an unwavering expression, as though confronting an unseen evil. His intense look is complemented by haunting eyes and tree branches that spread above him like an eerie crown.
