The Christmas Weekend release MCA is all set to create the first-week record among the second league heroes. In its first weekend itself, it has found a place in the top, and with Christmas holiday on Monday, the new first-week record will be achieved before the completion of the week itself.

The first week records of second league stars are dominated by Nani, making him the unanimous number one and that too by a distance. Fidaa starring Varun Tej and Sai Pallavi is the only other movie in the top 4 that doesn’t star Nani. His last three films, MCA, Ninnu Kori, and Nenu Local are among the top four.
While on the worldwide front Nani is beating Fidaa, on the home turf, that is, in the Telugu states, it is his record belonging to Nenu Local that Nani is surpassing. This kind of total domination by a star has not been seen for a while. If Nani continues in the same vein in the future, he would surely be in the reckoning to enter the bigger league.
While the first week of MCA is guaranteed to be fantabulous thanks to the extended weekend, we have to see if the movie sustains or not post-holidays. The rest of the week’s run would be crucial to determining the overall number and fate of the movie.
