Trust Salman Khan to take the Bollywood trade by storm. The actor has been on a record breaking spree ever since his return with a bang with Dabangg. From then on he has been creating new records or breaking the records created by his contemporaries effortlessly. This time though he is breaking his own records.
Till now in Bollywood the highest pre-release business for a film has been done by Salman Khan starrer Jai Ho. And now with Kick, Salman is breaking his own records by a good margin. The film has been reportedly sold at prices which are almost three-fourth equal to the collections of Dhoom 3, the highest grossing film in Hindi cinema till now. What this means now is that Kick has to collect almost in the same zone as Dhoom 3 to be regarded as a clean success.
The trailer and music has done the trick with respect to masses. Add to it the Eid festivities, can Kick directed by a debutant live up to the tremendous hype and the money poured in by the investors? Or will it have a similar fate as Jai Ho?
