Heroine Samantha is one of the rare actress who can do both the glamorous as well as performance oriented acts. The actress is slowly but steadily choosing some roles that require her to act within the complete commercial movies as well. This can be seen in films like Manam, Eega and Atharintiki Daredi etc which were commercial ventures but Samantha had a part to play rather than being a dummy heroine used only for songs. In her upcoming film as well Samantha is continuing this trend.
We know that the actress has committed to do couple of complete mass entertainers in Tamil with actors Suriya and Vijay. Now she has chosen another film in Tamil which will see her in a substantial role requiring some acting talents. This new film has been launched recently and will be directed by Vijay Milton of Goli Soda fame. Samantha pairs up with Vikram for the first time and not only that the actress is reportedly going to be seen in dual role in the film.
If the duel role bit of news is confirmed, it would be a first for Samantha as so far she hasn’t done a double role act. The film which has been launched recently and is expected to arrive in summer next year.
