The sequel of Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopam featuring himself, Pooja Kumar, Rahul Bose, Andrea Jeremiah, Shekar Kapoor and Waheeda Rehman has been much hyped and is very eagerly anticipated by the audiences. In this regard, there has been buzz about the release dates being set for either the second or the ninth of May.

However, from what we hear, these dates were being speculated upon but no decision has been taken yet. The funding part of the whole Vishwaroopam 2 project is being handled by Aascar Films and this company is also involved in producing the mega budged film of Shankar named Ai. The film Ai which stars Vikram and Amy Jackson in the lead is going to have some quick scheduling and this is what is causing problems for Vishwaroopam 2. It is only when Ai is wrapped up that the release date of Vishwaroopam 2 will be decided.
