Senseless Comments On Versatile Hero!

In the world of cinema, Vikram, fondly known as Chiyaan, has carved an indelible mark as India’s best actor. From the transformative role in “Sethu” that breathed life into his career, to the recent success of “Ponniyin Selvan,” Vikram stands as a versatile actor with a unique ability to inhabit any character. That’s why fans of other actors are also his fans. In fact, Vikram is the only actor who has less number of haters.

However, as anticipation builds for his upcoming film “Thangalaan,” a cloud emerges in the form of director cum actress Devayani’s husband, Rajakumaran’s controversial remarks.

Rajakumaran who directed Vikram in Vinnukum Mannukum criticized his acting, saying, “Acting by pretending to break an arm, breaking a leg, or covering one eye is not real acting. A good actor should express emotions without relying on such things, especially during close-up shots. Vikram can’t pull off that kind of acting.”

He continues, “I don’t think Vikram is a great actor. He either imitates Kamal Haasan or Rajinikanth. Apart from that, he doesn’t know how to act. If he tries anything different, he resorts to changing his appearance – growing a mustache, shaving his head, or faking injuries.”

According to Rajakumaran, Vikram struggles with realistic reactions. In close-up shots, without any special makeup or visual effects, he believes Vikram falls short of delivering convincing performances. Rajakumaran claims that without makeup and special effects, Vikram is not impressive.

The Internet buzzes with debates over Rajakumaran’s statements, contrasting sharply with the widespread admiration for Vikram’s talent. Fans ardently defend their idol, arguing that Rajakumaran’s senseless comments may stem from a personal grudge.

As “Thangalaan” approaches, it must be remembered that Vikram hasn’t delivered a big solo hit for the past many years. So the question looms: can Vikram silence his critics and secure a solo hit, solidifying his legacy as a cinematic powerhouse?
