Surveen Chawla, Bollywood actress from Punjab who has done a few Tamil films has come out freshly making claims that several directors wanted to see her body before they gave offers to her. Another wanted to know every inch of her body. How ridiculous!
She faced casting couch incidents five times and among those, three of them were from South directors. Surveen disclosed that one among the South directors was a National Award Winning Tamil director who wanted to have an affair. He tried his best to convey his indecent intentions.
He even wanted to go to Mumbai when she returned to Mumbai quoting that she was unwell. She had to cut him off totally. This was how she was treated and like many others had to face cheap proposals in disguise.
We know that Surveen Chawla wasn’t the only one but, it’s alarming to see that the mindsets of some people about the actresses haven’t changed despite such open revelations.
