Sharwa’s MMIRR proves Aamir Khan’s point

malli malli idi raani roju successAamir Khan’s last release ‘pk’ had been sensational for both its box-office run and also for the number of controversies surrounding it since the first look poster of the film is released. And the most inappropriate controversy is the plagiarism charges made on the makers of ‘pk’. It was obvious that the person who made the allegations was successful in getting his name to the front page.

Coming to Sharwanand’s Malli Malli Idhi Rani Roju, this film proves Aamir’s words true. Speaking on the fate of good films, Aamir says that no matter what we do, one can’t make a bad film work and one can’t kill a good film. A hit film is one which is liked by people. Any amount of marketing wouldn’t do any good for a bad film.

And surprisingly, MMIRR is one film which didn’t get into controverises inspite of having protagonists from two different religions falling in love as if making one of Nitya’s dialogues from the movie true, ‘Preminchukovadam ye matham lonaina okkate’ (falling in love is the same in all languages). MMIRR surprises many being one of the non-controversial movies of late.
