Actor Siddharth’s recently released Tamil gangster film “Jigarthanda” opened up to rave reviews and running with packed houses in Tamilnadu. This will be a great respite for the actor who has been due for a hit for long time. Now there is more news to cheer for, producer of the film says Bollywood film makers have approached him for the remake and he will soon reveal more details. The film ‘Jigarthanda’ had to face allegations of plagiarism sugar coated as inspiration from South Korean movie ‘The Dirty Carnival’. However, writers of the film denies it.
We will have to see if Siddharth will be picked up for Bollywood remake if it ever happens. He had tough luck when he tried earlier with films like Striker and Chashme Baddoor. Jigarthanda is the story of an aspiring filmmaker who closely follows a real gangster to make a gangster film.
