Now the producer is selling the remake rights of the movie to Bollywood producers for Hindi remake and director Karthik Subbaraju got a stay from the court refraining the producer from selling the copy rights for a remake or advertising the movie. Even before the film’s release, there had been a lot of controversy between them.

According to the agreement, it is learnt that Karthik Subbaraju has 40% share of the revenue generated from selling Hindi remake rights. But the producer initiated deal with Bollywood makers without the knowledge of Subbaraju. Henceforth, after failing to settle the issue amicably, Subbaraju approached court and got the stay order.
