Sing Geetham Story Revealed: Fresh Idea Surprises

Sing Geetham Movie Story

Directed by veteran filmmaker Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, now 94 years old and still exploring new ideas, *Sing Geetham* is set to hit theaters on June 11.

As expected from Sing Geetham, the film comes with a completely unconventional concept.

The story revolves around a father with four daughters. Unable to get them married and deeply troubled by their situation, he climbs a hill and prays for help. He receives a strange boon: people should stop speaking about his daughters.

But when he returns, something unexpected happens, the villagers stop talking altogether and begin expressing themselves only through songs.

That unusual setup becomes the foundation of *Sing Geetham*.

We have exclusively learned that nearly 60% of the film’s narrative is carried forward through songs. While there are dialogues, the majority of the storytelling unfolds musically, making it a rare and experimental cinematic attempt.

The film appears to be aimed at a niche audience that appreciates unique storytelling and could attract strong critical appreciation.

Backing the project is producer Nag Ashwin of *Kalki* fame, under the Swapna Cinema banner, with music composed by Devi Sri Prasad.

An intriguing project arrives in theaters next week, and if it connects, *Sing Geetham* could become yet another memorable addition to Singeetham Srinivasa Rao’s remarkable filmography.
