Telugu singer and Bigg Boss Telugu Season 3 winner Rahul Sipligunj has landed in legal trouble. A case has been registered against him and 11 others in Visakhapatnam.
A woman approached the police alleging that she had been threatened. Based on her complaint, MVP Colony police in Visakhapatnam registered a case against Rahul Sipligunj and 11 others under various sections.
the woman alleged that a man identified as Karpurapu Rahul Reddy had deceived her after allegedly promising to marry her. She further alleged that he later blackmailed her using her personal photographs and videos.
The complainant alleged that Rahul Sipligunj has threatened during the dispute involving Karpurapu Rahul Reddy and pressured her to comply with certain demands. One of the more serious allegations in the complaint is that Rahul Sipligunj forced the woman to give video statements against her will.
The reports, however, do not provide the exact contents of those video statements or clarify under what circumstances they were recorded.
