Casting couch has been one of the most talked about topics in the Indian film industry for a while now and it is not slowing down by any means.
Now, a Bollywood actress has claimed that a South Indian producer has asked her to compromise and sleep with him.
The said actress is Ankita Lokhande who acted alongside late Bollywood superstar Sushant Singh Rajput in Pavitra Rishta.
“This incident happened while I was 19 or 20. I was called for a South Indian film once. The manager then called me aside and said I will have to compromise if I am to get the role in the film.”
“I then asked him what he meant by compose. Was it partying with the producer and going out to dinner with him. He then replied that I had to sleep with the producer. I instantly declined and came out, saying this producer wanted a woman who will sleep with him but not an actress” she said.
Now netizens are wondering who this producer could be. But given the narrow information given by the actress, it is hard to point out.
