For the second year in a row, Bollywood baadshah Shah Rukh Khan, will be present in Chennai on Saturday as part of 8th Annual Star Vijay Awards. This year too, he will receive a special award called ‘Entertainer of Indian Cinema’, constituted this year and will be henceforth be carried forward for the future.
SRK will grace the event, which honours the best of Tamil cinema. Last year, King Khan attend the event few hours late, much to the disappointment of the audience. But he made it up with an electric performance on stage with Tamil stars such as Vijay and few more. He danced for so many Tamil songs and entertained audiences for nearly three hours till midnight. He even shared his respect to Tamil stars such as Kamal Haasan and Sivaji Ganeshan. In fact, last year, SRK received another special honour called Chevalier Sivaji Ganeshan award.
With some of the top Tamil stars such as Hansika, Shruti Haasan and Lakshmi Rai set to perform on stage, one wonders if SRK will do the lungi style. Let’s wait and watch.
