A picture of Mahesh Babu’s wife, Namrata, and daughter, Sitara Ghattamaneni, has been going viral on social media. In the image, Sitara appears much taller than her mother, sparking a flood of comments.
Many fans noted how fast she has grown, with one even joking that at this pace, she might surpass Mahesh Babu in height soon.
However, after a closer look, it has been revealed that the viral image is actually a morphed picture. The original photo belongs to actress Sreeleela, who had shared it a few weeks ago to wish her mother a happy birthday.
In the edited version, Sitara’s face was placed over Sreeleela’s, and Namrata’s face replaced Sreeleela’s mother’s.
For some cheap thrills and attention, social media users often engage in such digital manipulations. While this particular case may seem harmless, morphed images can sometimes lead to serious consequences, affecting reputations and even careers.
Technology should be used responsibly. Creating and sharing such misleading images for fun may seem trivial, but it can have far-reaching consequences.
