Rather than pretending to ask a question, we would like to say SS Rajamouli is the number one director in India currently and here’s why?

First of all, let us look at the top directors who have the merit to contest and claim the number one spot. Only two names come to our mind, and they are Raju Hirani and Shankar. These two directors have given biggest blockbusters and have worked and continue to work with best names in the industry.
Raju Hirani joining hands with Aamir Khan delivered two back to back top grosser’s of the country. In fact, Baahubali 2 has recently beaten a film by the director to become the number one grosser worldwide. Shankar, on the other hand, has and is working with the biggest star of all, Superstar Rajinikanth. He has delivered the biggest hits with the biggest stars.
Which then brings us to SS Raamouli. The director has right from the beginning worked with stars and always is up to the challenge regarding expectations and pressure. But starting from Magadheera, Rajamouli has been growing with each film, and with the second part of Baahubali, he has sealed the deal at the top spot. Rajamouli previously with Magadheera and Baahubali part 1 had the sort of success that other two directors had, but with Baahubali 2, he has outdone both.
The success that Rajamouli has got is both, commercial as well as critical, and that’s what takes him at the top. Shankar has a chance to top with 2.0, but only the best coming from him can do the miracle. Raju Hirani’s next Sanjay Dutt biopic is a personal target for the director to prove his worth outside the two Aamir Khan films.
With such limitations for the directors mentioned above and the next film of Rajamouli already considered red hot across Indian sub-content, there is no doubt at all to state the obvious fact that SS Rajamouli is India’s numero uno director.
