In a surprising development, Bollywood’s serial kisser Emraan Hashmi has been signed on to play the antagonist in the much anticipated Pawan Kalyan’s ‘OG.’ There was no buzz surrounding this casting decision, which has only added to the excitement of the unexpected announcement.
The film is directed by Sujeeth. In his last film Saaho, Sujeeth overstuffed the entire film with a plethora of actors from all industries. Jackie Shroff, Chunkey Panday, Mahesh Manjrekar, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mandira Bedi, Lal, Arun Vijay, and many more were cast in the film, but unfortunately, not even one actor got a memorable role. Because of so many actors, not just these actors had less screen time, but Prabhas’ screen time also got compromised.
Sujeeth has this strange habit of casting renowned actors and wasting their potential. In OG also, he has cast Prakash Raj, Sriya Reddy, and Master fame Arjun Das in key roles. Now Emraan Hashmi has been brought on board to play the main villain.
Let’s hope Sujeeth doesn’t waste the talent and potential of these talented actors by giving them thankless roles, and at the same time, the lead actor, Pawan Kalyan, gets to play not a full length but an impactful role as per the buzz.
