Director Sukumar‘s daughter Sukriti Veni Bandreddi has already made a mark by winning the National Award for Best Child Artist for her performance in Gandhi Tatha Chettu. Now she has added another major achievement to her growing list.
As per our sources, Sukriti has won the Berklee Ensemble Excellence Award at the renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston. The award comes with a full-tuition scholarship for Berklee’s Aspire: Five-Week Music Performance Intensive.
The program will focus on ensemble performance, songwriting, and contemporary music training. Sukriti has been learning music for years and blends classical roots with modern styles in her performances.
Berklee describes the Ensemble Excellence Award as its premier full-tuition scholarship, presented to a select group of exceptional students each year.
Sukriti was selected from among 272 applicants worldwide. Among them, only 14 students have received full funding, making her achievement particularly notable. For Sukumar and his family, this is yet another proud moment.
