After a super successful run as a comedian in Telugu, Sunil shifted his gears to become a hero. After a few initial successes, he soon lost his mojo and ended up delivering continuous disasters.
Sunil is now putting all his efforts to make a comeback as a comedian and a powerful character artist in films like Pushpa and Virupaksha. He also keeps doing some inconsequential small-budget movies for the sake of money.
Meanwhile, he is also trying his luck in the Tamil industry. In the latest Rajinikanth blockbuster, surprisingly Sunil had a role with decent run time. His scenes with Tamannaah in the second half are getting mixed response from the audience. While some are finding it cringe, some are enjoying it.
A few weeks ago, Sunil also starred in Sivakarthikeyans’ Maaveeran. In that film also, Sunil got a decent role but not many talked about it. He is soon going to be seen in a flurry of Tamil films soon – Japan, Eegai, Mark Antony, and Bullet.
The good thing is Sunil is getting exposed to the Tamil audience in a big way which should help his career in the long run.
