Samantha’s upcoming thriller, Yashoda, is all set to release on November 11th. But the makers are in a soup as their leading lady is not available to promote their film.
The film’s trailer received a decent response from the audience and there are chances that the film has merits to pull in the audiences if there is enough hype created. But due to her recently-revealed health condition, Samantha will not be able to promote the film either on the web, print, or electronic media.
Yashoda is a female-oriented film and the entire onus of making it a success is on Samantha as she is the biggest plus point of the film. In the past, she has churned out decent hits with the help of her stardom like Oh! Baby.
But the film needs proper promotion to make it reach a wider section of the audience which will not be possible in the absence of its leading lady.
So the makers need to chalk out a plan asap to promote Yashoda without Samantha. We have to wait and see if the audience will come to the theaters based on only Samantha’s name and a decent trailer.
