Superstar’s Go Ahead For Competition

In a unique gesture of sorts, a Superstar took permission from other Superstar to arrive with the latter’s film. The two Superstars are Rajinikanth and Aamir Khan.

The movies we are talking about are Rajini’s 2.0 and Aamir Khan’s Secret Superstar. Initially Secret Superstar was planned as an August 4 release but with a big unplanned clash happening on August 11, producer Aamir Khan took the decision to arrive on Diwali instead of the week before Independence Day.

Aamir simply had a one on one conversation with Rajini and with his blessing decided to arrive on Diwali as it can accommodate multiple releases. Incidentally, 2.0 also features Akshay Kumar in a parallel lead. Wonder what he feels about this clash?
