The actor who was invited as the chief guest for the audio launch of the film Malini 22 Palayamkottai along with Kamal Haasan and Vijay Sethupati had said this and added that he fears for her daughter. The actor said all this and more as the film Maline 22 Palayamkottai deals with these issues and much more evil that is happening in today’s society to the females.

Leaving the social causes aside the actor also said that the industry is currently not making films that strike a chord with the audience and leave an impact. An impact, which makes them remember the film, long after they have watched the film. He wishes that industry produces more films of these types as well along the regular commercial ones and a fine balance is achieved.
Malini 22 Palayamkottai is a remake of critical as well as commercial successful Malayalam film 22 Female Kottayam. Veteran actress Sripriya makes her debut as director with his film which will see Nithya Menon playing the lead role. The film is made as a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu and the audio of the Telugu version is expected to release soon.
