There was a time when Suriya had cause pain director Gautham Menon by walking out of the director’s project ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’. When he decided to walk out, he wrote an open letter to Gautham saying that he didn’t like to work on a project which he didn’t believe in completely.

Now, Suriya is regretting the way he used to express the differences. They could have sat together and talked about the differences and he could have walked out sighting other reasons. The star hero is now keen on ironing out the differences with the director.
Slowly they started talking with the help of common friends and he hopes that there would be a film in their combination in future. Gautham Menon gave him blockbusters like ‘Khakha Khakha (remade is ‘Venky’s Gharshana in Telugu) and Vaaranam Aayiram (Son of Krishnan in Telugu) which shaped up his career as a star hero.
