Now, Suriya himself appears to have cleared the air.
During a recent interaction, the actor addressed the confusion and said that he is still living in Chennai. “Many have confusion, I’m living here in Chennai only. I’m just travelling often to Mumbai,” Suriya said.
The clarification comes at a time when Suriya’s Mumbai visits have become frequent. He has also spoken earlier about their Mumbai home, describing it as a comfortable space where he gets to spend quality time with his family. Recent reports have highlighted the couple’s Mumbai residence and their decision to spend more time there.
However, Suriya’s latest comment makes it clear that frequent travel to Mumbai should not necessarily be seen as him completely shifting away from Chennai.
For now, Chennai continues to be home for Suriya, while Mumbai remains an important part of his family life and routine.
