Talented actress Nithya Menen’s stint as a heroine in mainstream Telugu cinema has almost ended. Now, she has started looking for opportunities to showcase her talent in the OTT space.
Nithya is making her foray into the Telugu OTT world with her new show, Kumari Srimathi, a comedy series produced by the Swapna Cinema on their new OTT banner, Early Morning Tales. The show is all set to premiere on Prime Video on September 28.
Swapna Dutt is producing successful films on Swapna Cinema banner. She is producing small & medium budget films on this banner, and now she has floated a new banner to create content in the OTT arena.
The show has a lot going for it, as it has a formidable star cast, a banner with huge goodwill among the audience, and an OTT platform with high reach. But there has been no memorable Telugu OTT show that has created a mark in recent times.
We have to see if Swapna Dutt manages to deliver a successful project on OTT as well.
