But, we feel that ‘‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’‘ can’t afford to lose AR Rehman. A biggie like Sye Raa’ needs the music maestro to add in the terms of quality. Why? Here is the reason. ‘He elevates a scene without disturbing the soul’, is the complement AR Rahman has received for the background music he scored for Diwali release ‘Mersal’ (‘Adirindhi’) starring a mass star like Vijay in the lead.
The BGM scored by AR Rahman was impressive for a routine potboiler with a mass star when the music tends to be loud. It gave freshness with a catchy music not overtaking any scene and elevating the scene and its impact, big time. After ‘Mersal’, Chiru can’t afford to miss AR Rahman for whatever reasons.
