Dil Raju spear-headed the Active Producers of the industry to start the ‘ATFPG – ACTIVE TELUGU FILM PRODUCERS GUILD’ a few years ago to break away from the Film Chamber and Producers Council.

The Guild managed to take away the major chunk of the revenues of the chamber and council taking control of film advertisements. However, the first wrong step of Guild came in 2022 August when it was decided to stop the shootings for a month to address the challenges posed by the pandemic.

But the one-month strike was a failure and various decisions taken by the Guild in controlling Remunerations, production costs, etc have failed. The other producers within the Guild too did not support this decision.

Later Dil Raju realized Chamber and Council were prevailing over Guild since they are recognized bodies and so decided to conquer them as well. Dil Raju’s panel won the Producers Council elections that happened in February this year.

Now, they have conquered the Chamber elections too.

This year Chamber Elections registered Record polling. Many inactive producers have come to Hyderabad to cast their votes. Everyone thought this would benefit C Kalyan’s Panel but Dil Raju had the last laugh.

Meaning the small/inactive producers and members of the other three sectors also imposed trust in Dil Raju’s slogan that only producers actively making films can understand the problems of the industry.

The One-month strike is the biggest failure of Dil Raju but the producers and members of the three sectors imposed faith.

Everyone will now look at Dil Raju for solving several long-pending issues like welfare, Production Costs, UFO/Qube VPF Charges, Insurance, remunerations, theaters problems for small films, OTT, Wages, etc.

With complete control over Council and Chamber, Dil Raju has to show his mark in solving these issues in the next couple of years.
