Nani’s The Paradise Hit by Dubbing Controversy?

Nani in The Paradise teaser

The teaser of Nani’s most anticipated film The Paradise directed by Srikanth Odela, was released recently and is going viral on social media with mixed reviews from audiences and critics alike.

Since its announcement, The Paradise has generated high expectations among audiences. After the glimpse and the first single Aaya Sher, composed by Anirudh Ravichander from the film, also became a viral hit, the expectation levels now reached sky-high for the film.

However, the recently released teaser ended up as a huge disappointment. After watching the teaser, many viewers responded that it feels flat and many people feel Anirudh Ravichander’s background score was very poor in it.

Meanwhile, despite these mixed responses, Tamil audiences are thrashing the makers of The Paradise for the poor dubbing quality in the Tamil version of the teaser. They claim that Nani’s Tamil dubbed voice is not in sync and if this same quality is maintained in the film, then The Paradise’s Tamil version will end up as a failure.

Additionally, they note that the Tamil dubbed version of Nani’s last film, Hit 3, was good and matched his voice sync well. Hence, they are now requesting the makers of The Paradise to use the same dubbing artist to lend his voice for Nani.

At the same time, there were also rumors that Nani himself dubbed for the Tamil version of the teaser of Paradise. If these speculations prove true, it might end up as a huge setback for Nani, as it could trigger trolls claiming that the Tamil audience loves the dubbing artist’s voice more than Nani’s original voice.

Ultimately, with the severe backlash against the dubbing quality in the Tamil version of the teaser, it remains to be seen whether the makers of The Paradise will work on the dubbing quality and improve the final output upon its release.
