Tickets sold like hot cakes for Sanjay Dutt's show!

With only three days are left for Sanjay Dutt’s performance in Pune,fans are moving around jail authorities or the tickets. Even VVIPs are keen to see the show but all the tickets and passes have already been distributed. Sanjay Dutt along with other inmates will participate in the cultural show in Pune as part of fundraising programme for a charity purpose.

He will perform famous Lungi Dance of SRK’s Chennai Express, leading to enthusiasm among fans and well wishers of Sanju. The 53-year-old Bollywood actor, who had surrendered after the Supreme Court upheld his conviction in the 1993 serial blasts, is serving the remaining 42 months of his five-year sentence since May.

For the past few months, over 30 inmates of Yerawada jail have been rehearsing a cultural programme consisting of dance performances and skits with the main theme on the culture and traditions of Maharashtra and their relevance in the changing times. DIG (Prisons) Rajendra Dhamane said, “The show will be houseful as some social organizations and citizens groups have bought many tickets. Sanjay Dutt will be appearing in a dance and he will also be doing a skit which has mimicry.”

The fans who could not get tickets need not worry as Doordarshan will air the programme from 3 pm onwards on September 26th. Maharastra Chief minister Prithiviraj Chavan and home minister RR Patil will be present at the event.
