Tollywood is finally catching a break after a series of successful releases this September. The industry is seeing strong performance with multiple hits boosting confidence.
The month began with the surprise blockbuster Little Hearts. The film earned five times its budget, making it one of the most profitable Tollywood movies recently.
Next is Mirai, a superhero film starring Teja Sajja. It has crossed over Rs 100 crore in collections and continues to perform well at the box office.
After Hanuman, Teja Sajja proves his box office appeal once again with Mirai. His consecutive hits show he is climbing rapidly in the industry.
Another notable release is the horror thriller Kishkindapuri. The film received decent reviews and managed to earn slight profits. Competition with Mirai affected its total collections.
Despite the clash, September has been a positive month for Tollywood with three films performing well.
Looking ahead, Pawan Kalyan’s OG releases on September 25. It is expected to be one of the biggest-grossing Telugu films of the year.
