This weekend, Tollywood saw the release of three films: Little Hearts, Ghaati, and Madharaasi. All three hit the screens, but none managed to create major pre-release buzz.
Despite arriving together, the films struggled to draw big crowds on opening day. Their performance at the box office so far has been modest.
According to BookMyShow hourly booking data, Little Hearts is trending with around 3.4K tickets per hour. Anushka’s Ghaati is at 2K tickets per hour.
Sivakarthikeyan’s Madharaasi is performing the best among the three, trending with 18K tickets per hour. However, most of these are from the Tamil version, so Telugu numbers remain unclear.
It’s fair to say Madharaasi leads this weekend’s box office battle, thanks mainly to its Tamil version. Still, fans expected better numbers for Sivakarthikeyan, who has delivered back-to-back hits recently.
Little Hearts is aimed at the youth and may see stable bookings overall due to its light-hearted content. However, Ghaati appears to be underperforming, with weak booking trends suggesting low footfalls.
