But now people have gone back in time and digging out the names of stars from past who have promoted the product. Stars like Amitabh Bachchan and Preity Zinta as a result are now ganged up for endorsing the product.
These stars when they came to know about it have expressed surprise and said that it was long back they endorsed it but if they are required to clarify anything they are ready to co-operate. Good thing for them is they have got lot of support from people in general who think bringing them into the controversy in unnecessarily vilifying them.
