Can Yash’s Toxic Survive BO Clash? 600 Cr Pressure

Yash Toxic movie poster concept

Toxic, starring Yash in the lead role, is set for release next year. Reports suggest that the film’s budget has now touched Rs. 600 crores. This puts massive pressure on both the makers and Yash to deliver a grand cinematic experience.

The reason for the steep budget increase is not clear. Sources claim the film may undergo reshoots, even though less than 60% of the shoot has been completed so far. This could further extend production time.

Currently, the makers are sticking to the March 19, 2026 release date. However, it remains uncertain whether the film will arrive on time or face a delay. The official update is still awaited.

Interestingly, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War has also locked the same release date. Even if the shoot is completed on time, insiders hint the film might get postponed due to lengthy post-production work.

If both films release on the same date, audiences will witness a big clash. Toxic carries the heavier burden, as it must collect over Rs. 800 crores to recover its huge investment. The stakes are extremely high.

Yash has gained immense popularity in North India after K.G.F. Chapter 2. But with a four-year gap since his last release, the big question is whether Hindi audiences will show the same craze for Rocking Star again.

At the same time, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s films have their own pull. Even if Love & War is not a typical commercial entertainer, SLB is known to add elements that appeal to both multiplex and single-screen audiences.

With both films eyeing the same date, Bollywood may witness one of its biggest box office battles. It now remains to be seen if the clash happens or if one film decides to shift its release.
