Only recently petite lady Trisha had to face the wrath of Tamil superstar Vijay’s fans for enlisting the actor in fourth place in her favourite actor’s list. Trisha had been to US as a special guest for the annual FETNA ( Federation of Tamil Associations in North America) celebrations. During an interview, Trisha numbered her favourites list, taking Thala Ajith’s name first, followed by Kamal Haasan and Vijay in the fourth place. Since there is a tough competition in Kollywood between Ajith and Vijay for the number one position, Vijay’s fans literally spew fire on the actress.
Learning from Trisha’s experience, Anushka tried to act smarter in a recent interview to Tamil tabloids. When asked about her favourite actors, Sweety sweetly named Bollywood actors Shahrukh, Hrithik and Abhishek Bachan. One might think she has acted smartly and gave diplomatic answer. But no respite even for Anushka. This time Tamil cine goers are angry on Sweety because she has ignored Kollywood actors and taken Bollywood names. Does she think that anyone here isn’t worthy enough to be her favourite? – was the unanimous thought. Working here and praising others didn’t go well with thambis. Whether they speak their mind or be diplomatic, seems either way the actresses are sandwiched. Pity!
