Vijay Deverakonda has been struggling with back-to-back flops for quite some time now. It has been years since he delivered a resounding hit.
Currently, he is working on Kingdom with director Gowtam Tinnanuri, and he is betting big on this film to make a strong comeback. The recently released teaser has received a decent response and the expectations are very high from this film.

Produced by Sithara Entertainments with a massive budget, Kingdom features Bhagyashree Borse as the female lead. Producer Naga Vamsi has been hyping up the film, which is set to release on May 30.
Meanwhile, Vijay has also signed multiple films, including one under Dil Raju’s banner. Their last collaboration, The Family Star, failed miserably at the box office, but Dil Raju had already announced another project with Vijay last year.

Directed by Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru fame Ravi Kiran Kola, this film is currently in the pre-production stage. Recently, Dil Raju leaked the film’s title during a press meet for the re-release of Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu.
As per him, the title Rowdy Janardhan has been finalized. Though there were speculations, this can be considered as an official announcement from Dil Raju himself. The film is set in a Rayalaseema backdrop and is planned for a Summer 2026 release.

Apart from this, Vijay is also collaborating with Taxiwaala director Rahul Sankrityan for another project, which is also in the pre-production phase.
Interestingly, both Rowdy Janardhan and Rahul’s film might go on floors simultaneously and shoot parallelly. Now, all eyes are on whether Vijay can finally break his flop streak with these upcoming projects.
