Vijay Deverakonda’s Ranabaali Teaser: War for Freedom

Vijay Deverakonda and Rahul Sankrityan have collaborated once again after Taxiwaala under the Mythri Movie Makers banner. The film, titled Ranabaali, has generated interest with its updates. Ranabaali is scheduled for a Dussehra release on October 16 in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, and Malayalam.

The teaser of Ranabaali was released today, presenting a realistic and emotionally charged period action drama. It opens by remembering the eight million Indian lives lost during British rule before depicting the famine conditions in the Madras Presidency, particularly in the Rayalaseema region.

The opening portions show starving people collapsing on the streets while British officers continue their cruelty. The Mummy actor Arnold Vosloo plays Sir Theodore Hector, whose brutality is prominently featured in the teaser.

Vijay Deverakonda is introduced as Singanamala Bobbili Ranabaali. His intense screen presence, action sequences, and anger dominate the latter part of the teaser. The blood-soaked fight scenes present him as a warrior who shows no forgiveness.

Director Rahul Sankrityan’s vision is reflected in the scale and period setting of the teaser. Ajay-Atul’s background score accompanies the action, while the mysterious creature shown at the end raises curiosity about the world of Ranabaali. The film is based on real incidents that reportedly occurred during British rule in the late 1800s. The teaser also features Jayamma, played by Rashmika.
