What was called the pan-World film, Project K, is now titled Kalki 2898 AD and stars Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan. The film is directed by Nag Ashwin and produced under the Vyjayanthi Movies banner.
Recently, producer Priyanka Dutt shared a photo of Nag Ashwin checking the VFX reviews for the first trailer and poster. This picture is a testimony to his commitment to creating a satisfying film for the audience.

We have seen how the Adipruush makers didn’t share anything with the public until the complete film was ready. And later, when the teaser got a disastrous response, the team tried to defend itself and took the audience for granted. The makers showed arrogance and tried to give the impression that the audience were fools who should swallow whatever was shoved down their throats.
It seems like Nag Ashwin, on the other hand, has learned a lot from the Adipurush fiasco and is taking all the criticism and feedback from the fans and audience seriously and proceeding accordingly. It is a good practice and should set a precedent among the makers who think they are above the audience.

Before the Comic-Con debut, the first look of Prabhas faced criticism initially, but the release of a film glimpse changed perceptions and garnered a positive response from all over. There is still a lot to improve, and let’s hope Nag Ashwin comes out with a product we can all be proud of.
