Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Godfather is maintaining a decent hold at the box office. The real test for the movie begins from Monday which will give an idea about where it is headed. M9.news has sat down for an exclusive interview with Director Jayam Mohan Raja discussing the movie.
“I am a big admirer of Lucifer. I don’t know if I bettered Lucifer but it is satisfying that people are not saying I spoiled it,” Mohan Raja said.
He also revealed how he tailored the movie to suit the sensibilities of Telugu audiences. “I thought of making the sister the Chief Minister and started working in reverse to stuff enough drama. My concentration is on Nayanthara, Satyadev characters while showing Chiranjeevi in his elements and that worked,” he explained.
M9News correspondent mentioned how it would have been a delight to fans if Pawan Kalyan is in the place of Salman Khan.
“It was my choice. For some reason, I wanted only him. I don’t want some one from the family even though anyone would do it for Chiranjeevi sir,” he told.
