The Telugu, Telangana Chalana Chitra Vanijya Mandali has made a very interesting comment in the context of the coming Nandi Awards event that is to be held in Dubai.
“We have no connection with the Nandi award that is to be held in Dubai. We weren’t even intimated about it. Telangana and Andhra film boards have nothing to do with it. It is an event that is held by Ramakrishna Goud.” The statement from Film Chamber read.
The statement adds that the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce is the central force of the film industry.
Both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh film boards have combinedly stated that they have nothing to do with the Nandi Awards that are to be held in Dubai on the 24th of September.
The coming Nandi Awards event is billed to be a personal event of Telangana Film Chamber of Commerce Chairman P RamaKrishna Goud.
Back in the day, the Nandi awards were a prestigious awards ceremony held by the government of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh. But now, it is in the news for all the wrong reasons.
