Today, Telugu movies are going pan-Indian and there is a huge market for regional movies in Bollywood. At ‘Sye Raa’ pre-release event, Chiranjeevi’s lengthy speech included Rajamouli’s achievement as a director who made the entire nation swoon to his tune with ‘Baahubali’.
Chiranjeevi shared that Ram Charan decided to produce ‘Sye Raa’ because a lot of money would be at stake as the movie needed huge investment and it’s not easy for others to invest that big. It’s because of Rajamouli, Telugu movie makers are dreaming big and investing huge money and they too did the same, said the megastar.
It’s Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’ that laid the roads for the regional movies and gather the courage to make expensive movies not compromising during the making of the movie, said Chiru. Every word Chiru spoke holds true.
Only after ‘Baahubali’, Bollywood is looking at every big movie coming from South. In the past, a good movie from the South mostly went as a remake. Now, most movies are simultaneously going to Bollywood as Hindi dubbed versions. ‘Sye Raa’ is one among them that is backed by big producers from B’Town.
