The last couple of days have been eventful ones digital audiences as two mainstream Bollywood films, Bhuj: The Pride Of India and Shershaah have premiered directly on OTT. There have been a couple of other exciting exclusive OTT releases as well. Scroll on to determine which of this week’s OTT releases deserve a place in you watchlist for this weekend.
Bhuj: The Pride of India – Disney+ Hotstar
This Ajay Devgan starrer is the most prominent title on the list. However, it has opened to poor reviews and appalling word of mouth. The supposed patriotic drama neither has patriotic elements nor any substantial drama. It is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
Shershaah – Amazon Prime Video
The Siddharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani starrer has garnered mixed reviews. The film brings to life the heroic acts of Vikram Batra, late Captain in the Indian army who fought in the Kargil war at the age of 24. It is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
Netrikann – Disney+ Hotstar
The Nayanthara starrer is billed to be a suspense thriller, however it is anything but that. The film opened to weak reviews. Bland narration is said to be the main drawback of the film. It is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
Kuruthi – Amazon Prime Video
This Prithviraj Sukumaran, Roshan Mathew, and Murali Gopi starrer is one of the better films which have released on OTT this weekend. The realistic social drama is receiving a fairly good response, thanks to its raw and hard-hitting story and narrative.
Chathur Mukham – Aha Video
The Manju Warrier starrer is streaming on Aha Video now. The thriller has a peculiar plot which revolves around a women, who’s life turns upside down after acquiring a generic mobile phone.
The Kissing Booth 3(English) – Netflix, Ben Is Back(English) – Netflix, Shanti Kranti(Hindi, Telugu, and others languages) – Sony Liv, Destination Wedding(English) – Amazon Prime are the other notable releases this weekend.
