If RGV comes to know, veteran director K.Raghavendra Rao led his favorite heroine to near death, one can expect what RGV would do.
Those were the days when Raghavendra Rao was shooting for ‘Na Thammudu’ starring Shobhan Babu in the lead. Baby Sridevi was the child artist playing Shobhan Babu’s brother’s daughter. In a scene, Sridevi had to run across the road when vehicles are racing. Within a fraction of a second, the baby missed being hit by a car and escaped with just a small injury on her feel.
It had been really god’s grace that she was saved and after that she grew up and became all India number one heroine. When Raghavendra Rao showed the clip of the same to RGV, one could clearly see the astonishment and pain on his face. He frankly said that he would have murdered the veteran director if that had happened. That was the gravity in RGV’s admiration.
