Jr Ntr Ram Charn Allu Arjun

Prabhas is one hero who is in a different league altogether, and there is high competition among other Tier 1 Telugu star heroes to reach Prabhas’s current pan-India stardom.

Now, three movies of Tier 1 Telugu heroes are releasing closely, and all three movies are pan-India films from the Telugu industry.

First up is Jr NTR’s Devara, set to release on September 27. This film is crucial for NTR to show that he is a strong contender for the pan-India market post-RRR. So, not just Telugu market success, but Hindi success is equally critical for him. He needs to prove himself with Devara; otherwise, with the next two films having the brand images of Hrithik and Prashanth Neel, he will not get full credit.

Next in line is Allu Arjun’s most awaited sequel, Pushpa 2, which has a huge sequel advantage, and the trade is expecting a never-before-seen opening in Hindi, with the film potentially becoming the highest grosser in Bollywood. Though the sequel advantage is huge, the film also needs to deliver to meet such high expectations. Pushpa 2 will hit screens on December 6.

Ram Charan’s Game Changer, which has been facing release delays, is now gearing up for a Christmas release on December 25. Ram Charan has been heavily promoted with the ‘Global Star’ tag since RRR, and this movie is also very crucial for Charan to pull audiences to theaters in the Hindi belt; otherwise, all the hype since RRR will come to haunt him.

In summary, even though Allu Arjun is having a huge sequel advantage, Ram Charan and NTR also need to deliver blockbuster numbers for their standalone films. The comparisons will be fair enough.
