Prabhas and Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD is doing well at the Box Office. The movie managed more than 180 Crore Gross on the first day and that proves Prabhas again as a Huge Pan India Star managing The Biggest opening of the year even in the Interiors of Hindi Belt for a Dystopian Film.
The way Nag Ashwin blended Mythology into the Sci-Fi film made the film special and that was visible in the response the movie got in the Climax.
Meanwhile, there is a discussion about why Vyjayanthi Movies did not cast any big stars for the role of Krishna.
We can not see the face of Krishna in the film. Tamil actor Krishna Kumar played the role of Krishna in the movie, the actor revealed on his Instagram Page.
Vyjayanthi could have cast a star for the role but it was Aswini Dutt who chose not to do that, sources say.
Apparently, Aswini Dutt was a big fan of NT Ramarao and it was the latter who named the banner too.
Whenever Dutt talks about NTR, he speaks with so much respect. Vyjayanthi Banner also has NTR as Lord Krishna blowing the conch.
For Telugu people, NTR is Lord Srikrishna. There is no one even close.
Dutt does not want to show the face in that role. It is a decision taken as a tribute to the Legendary Actor.
Hence we could not see the face. Also, the getup of Krishna is not the regular one that we saw in Telugu films of NTR’s era.
