Why Telugu industry has not welcomed Dolby Atmos?

The future of sound in cinema belongs to Dolby Atmos, which has given cinema viewing experience a face lift with advancement in sound. Life of Pi was the first released in the sound format, and since then several films have been released, including Bollywood flicks such as Zanjeer and Race 2.

While as many six films have announced their release in Atmos, not even a single Telugu film has still not made use of this technology. Why does Telugu industry always turns out to be the last to follow. For once, can’t it not lead and create a revolution.

One of the reasons why Telugu industry has still not opened up to Atmos could be due to the lack of Dolby Atmos facilitated screens.
