But Telugu film celebrities chose to ignore the contribution of the Baahubali director towards Amaravati. When it came to appreciating and congratulating KTR for winning the ‘Leader of the Year’ award by the Business World, all the celebrities seem to be rallying behind KTR appreciating him for the achievement.
From small heroes like Nithin to comedians, directors, heroines and others seem not be tired of praising the Telangana IT Minister. The vested interests of the Tollywood celebrities can be clearly seen as they know that they need to be in the good books of the Telangana government as long as the Film Industry is going to be stationed in Hyderabad.
The fear of being branded as ‘Andhra’ and also the reality that they are the residents of Hyderabad might have pulled them back from appreciating Rajamouli. But then, an achievement is an achievement irrespective of the region. What say?
